The Cannes International Film Festival expresses its solidarity with all of those fighting the COVID-19.

The Festival de Cannes cannot be held on the scheduled dates in May. The organizers are considering several options in order to preserve its running, probably postponing the event at the end of June-beginning of July, 2020.

They are following the French and international health situation in order to assess the real possibility and will make their decision known after consulting with the French Government, Cannes City Hall, the Festival’s Board Members, as well as Film industry professionals and all the partners of the event.

In the meantime, the Festival de Cannes firmly expresses its solidarity with all of those fighting the COVID-19, and calls on everyone to respect the general lockdown.
